Colombia
The technical focal point of the National BioTrade Programme in Colombia, Institute Alexander von Humboldt, coducted the assessment study of Colombia on the status of trade in biodiversity-based products and services in the Amazon region. The study, prepared under the formulation phase of the Regional BioTrade Programme, selected 4 product groups that meet BioTrade criteria and have real trade potential. It was discussed and validated with key stakeholders in the Amazon region from February to April 2007.
