On the occasion of the 8th session of the Conference
of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity which took
place from 20-31 March 2006 in Curitiba, Brazil, the
BioTrade Initiative of UNCTAD
organised a series of side events to showcase the Initiative's progress
in implementing the objectives of the Convention. Programmes of these
