Despite
of the huge potential of the natural ingredients sector in Bolivia,
which accounts with over 1000 native plant species with proven therapeutic,
cosmetic or nutrition properties, its development still has a long way
through.
With
support from BTFP, the
National BioTrade Programme in Bolivia is providing support to the value chain of Natural Ingredients for Cosmetics
and Pharmaceutics with the following objective:
Identify and prioritize actions
which lead to the development of the sector such as improving the offer
or raw materials, processing and integration throughout the value chains
of natural ingredients in Bolivia.
